Designed to
provide controlled overhead sprinkling to plants in Greenhouses
and Polytunnels, these versatile units can be progressively
upgraded in terms of droplet size and flow rate as the plants
mature.
They are fed via 13mm i/d (16mm Ø) Polypipe. A radius of 4m
is normal. The unit comprises of a Butterfly Bridge, Leakage
Prevention Device and an Upside Down Sprinkler head.
The head can be interchanged with the Misting Nozzle.

|
Butterfly Bridge is the connecting point for the Misting Nozzles
and the Upside Down Micro Sprinkler. It pushes into the 13mm
i/d (16mm Ø) Polypipe and is held securely by a barb or attached
to 3.6mm i/d Microbore pipe. |

|
Multi
Outlet Cross Piece allows you to connect up to four misting nozzles to one outlet. With the use of blanks you can have two or three nozzles in any configuration you require. Full circle, Half circle, Quarter circle or a Strip. |

 |
Misting Nozzle An Amazingly fine mist. Best performance is at 4 Bar. It is always recommended to fit a Leakage Prevention Device to all Misting Nozzles. |

 |
The Spa Misting Head has an integral valve for fine adjustment of the spray. It provides maximum spray radius of up to 1.5m at 2.5atm (36psi) at a flow of 110lit/hr (26gph). It will screw into the Sprinkler/Spray Spike. |

Greenhouse
production tends to be both labour and capital intensive and
demands high yields and high quality products to justify the
investment. The use of Misting Nozzles enables optimum
conditions of air temperature and air humidity to be maintained,
as well as providing essential nourishment for the crop. In
very hot environments the fine mist cools the air and prevents
health stress of vegetation.
Above 30°C, growth may stop completely as the stomata in the
leaves close and so prevents nourishment. The misting process
keeps the temperature down by evaporation.
